During this placement students will have the opportunity to observe and learn from experts in their field as they prepare their large inventory of over 200 pieces of equipment for their busy season. In the spring as the weather begins to warm up students will have the opportunity to travel to jobs with their work crews as they venture into the community to fulfill their contracted work. After some time on the road, students may have the chance to shadow on job bids as well. If students are interested in potentially driving large trucks to and from the site, training in this area may be available. If students do well within their apprenticeship, opportunity for summer employment may follow. "

Restoration Relief is a 24/7 Full-Service Disaster Restoration Specialist that is committed and focused on serving our community in their time of need. The opportunities that present themselves are not your ordinary positions. As we are committed to restoring property, this allows us to serve so many in a time of need when they have no idea where to turn. There are 3 different opportunities that would allow you to get your feet wet within our industry. Typically our first response is our Mitigation Teams. These are the individuals that use psychrometric readings along with our industry standards to dry structures back to dry standards. There is a lot of detail and science that goes hand in hand with these positions. Second is our Cleaning Department. They address the cleaning on contents and structures after fires. There are times that they will also have to pack out properties of the content so extensive cleanup can occur. Lastly is our reconstruction department. This is unique as a lot of time in construction, people think of building a new building or adding on an addition. Sometimes even remodeling. Our reconstruction is geared towards putting a property back together after we have to open it up for drying purposes or follow up after a devastating fire. These trades can open doors to many careers down the road that would allow you to truly serve others in their time of need.
